Rough Cut 3

My music video is now coming together more and this is my 3rd rough cut. There are still some blank shots at times where i need to film some more footage. When i film my new footage i plan to film some extreme close ups of the main star's mouth to show some more lip syncing. I also plan to replace some of the shots because some of them are quite shakey and dont fit in right with the rest of my footage. Towards the end of the song where i have overlayed a clip of the main star with a clip of the arcades looks too repetitive so i want to change the shots of the main star and maybe get her to look angry in about four different shots.

Question 3 Draft

What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

I asked many different people some questions about my video in various different ways. (facebook and youtube) I decided to use social networking websites for some audience feedback and I also filmed people by asking them questions. Using social networking websites meant that my video was open to any comments as it was shown to a wider range of people so I knew I would receive some positive and some negative comments.  The people I asked were the target audience for my video and also other people who weren’t really interested in the genre pop.

These are the comments i got for my audience feedback on my YouTube channel.

Overall i think the audience feedback i recieved was very positive and i can tell many people enjoyed watching my video. The main comment made by most people was that the actress could have made more of a performance as it is a very upbeat song. I agree with this because at times she needed to be more lively when she wasnt. From the audience feedback everyone said my music video told a clear narrative which is what i wanted to stand out the most so im glad people understood it. Some people also said that the lip sync matches really well so that was a good positive point to hear as i tried really hard to make sure they all fit in the right place.

Digipak Screen Grabs

I started my digipak by deciding on the 6 final photographs i was going to use and placing them in the right place where they are going to be in the digipak.

I then decided to add the two barcodes to the back cover that are going to be included. I also placed the cd outline in the right place and made it the colour shown.

The record label has been added up the side of the digipak along with the name and i added all of the text including the names of the songs on the cd, the artist name and the name of the album.

I decided that the digipak looked a bit plain so i decided to add some patterns behind each photograph used and changing the opacity.
